Liberty Copper was founded in 2020 by Joe Tucker with a simple vision: to share his passion for copper, American craftsmanship, and historical coinage with collectors and enthusiasts across the country.
What began as a small operation shipping orders from a garage quickly grew into a thriving business serving copper stackers, collectors, hobbyists, and investors nationwide. Inspired by the beauty of historic American coin designs and the enduring value of physical metals, Joe set out to create a company focused on offering high-quality copper products at fair prices.
From the beginning, Liberty Copper has been built on a love for tangible assets, hard work, and the belief that collecting copper should be accessible to everyone.
Growing Pains and Lessons Learned
As demand increased, managing inventory, packaging, and fulfillment while working a full-time job became increasingly difficult. To keep up with growth, fulfillment operations were outsourced to multiple third-party warehouse locations in other states.
While this allowed Liberty Copper to process more orders, it also introduced challenges that were outside of our control. Shipping inconsistencies, packaging issues, and communication problems led to customer frustration and feedback that did not reflect the standards we wanted to uphold.
Rather than accept those shortcomings, we made a decision to take control of our future.
Growing the Liberty Copper Family
As Liberty Copper continued to grow, new opportunities emerged to better serve copper collectors and stackers across the country.
In 2025, Liberty Copper welcomed the customers and product lines of Copperhead Bullion, expanding our presence within the copper bullion community. This transition allowed us to broaden our product selection, increase production capabilities, and serve a larger customer base while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer service.
Many of the customers who originally discovered us through Copperhead Bullion continue to be valued members of the Liberty Copper family today. The experience reinforced our belief that trust, quality products, and reliable service are the foundation of a successful business.
The growth from this transition, combined with increasing demand for our products, ultimately helped shape the next chapter of Liberty Copper's journey.
A New Chapter
In January 2026, Liberty Copper moved into its own dedicated 1,200-square-foot warehouse and fulfillment facility in Concord, New Hampshire.
This move allowed us to bring all operations back under one roof.
Today, every order is:
- Packed in-house
- Inspected before shipment
- Carefully prepared by our team
- Shipped directly from our Concord, NH facility
By managing fulfillment ourselves, we are able to maintain higher quality standards while still keeping costs competitive. Those savings are passed directly on to our customers through better pricing and dependable service.
